Personal anecdote: I used to rock RNVG’s with omni 8 tubes, and even though they’re heavy, they’re rock solid. Could probably use them as a hammer, and im sure you’ve all seen the famous video from TNVC where they just whip the thing across the room, with no damage. Its a pretty legendary setup, and I’m still personally using omni 8 tubes for myself, so you can guess my opinion on the performance to price ratio.
