What should I buy for my first night vision device?
Typically, I suggest a decent to good green phosphor PVS14 monocular. Mostly because the tube and lenses can be reused later on to build duals (binocular) if you choose, but because you’ll also get good performance, which you cant beat for the price. Take a look in the night vision tab, I often have some for sale.

Do you nitrogen purge your night vision?
Generally, all night vision I sell is nitrogen purged, especially PVS7 and PVS14’s, some unusual models may not be, since they often cant be purged, if you want to know about a specific item, feel free to reach out to me form the “contact us” tab

Can I send you a night vision XYZ to fix?
Reach out to me first. There's a good chance I can help.
-
Do you sell any white phosphor units?
Not usually. I dont think theyre worth the cost, its an improvement, but not significant enough to justify the price, in my opinion.

Why does every PVS7 have a blem at the 8 or 4 o'clock zone 2?
It’s not actually a blem, you’re seeing the hole in the reflector mirror for the low battery or IR ON LED, and its position moves from side to side, depending on the eye you look through(right or left eye).
It’s not a blem on the tube, its because of how the PV7 lens assembly works, and every PVS7 does it. -
Are Gen 1 devices worth it?
Generally not. They have obscure uses, but the terrible resolution and poor gain means terrible image.
-
Do you buy night vision stuff?
YES, ESPECIALLY BROKEN THINGS. I do it all, from rebuilding electronics, to 3D printing replacement parts, to repotting tubes. I do it all, right here, in my workshop.

What does my NVD come with?
All PVS-14’s come with a padded molle pouch (usually ACU camo). Some PVS-7’s too, but not all, depends what I have on hand. Some scopes and stuff are the same. All come with lens cleaning wipes, and daylight caps.

What's your warranty?
My general policy is that if it’s on me and my work, I’ll repair/replace/refund, and make right.
10 year warranties are meaningless for a company that’s only existed for a few years (if that), and it’s awfully common in this industry.
