They’re cheap because they’re entirely Argus housing and lenses, and an NNVT NVT4 tube, 1400+ FOM, so solid specs, and clean tubes (some have 1 spot in the Z3, at the edge, feel free to reach out to get photos of yours before shipping). Argus lenses are pretty decent, I was pleasantly surprised with them. Battery compartment has a strange power/gain knob, being all in one, but it works just fine, so not much to say. Not that you need the gain knob anyway, its an auto-gain tube, so knob doesnt do anything other than power.
