Wanna fight soviets on the moon, or larp real hard? Maybe take up stargazing? These are pretty neat, and at a great price point! These are the famous TVS5, with the .50 caliber M2/M27 reticle. They are gen 2, using the standard MX9946 tube, and are fully recoil rated. They provide a 7x magnification, and the larger front lens than the PVS4 is a nice addition to help draw in more light for a better image. Typically used for emplaced weapons and observation, they’re stupid durable, and more or less idiot proof. Come with the standard 6 position daylight cap (yes, the one that produces that cool triple image effect) for weapon zeroing during daylight (confirm zero at night before use please), shuttered eyecup (unscrew if you don’t want it), and standard screw for mounting to regular carry handles. They will also mount directly to a plain camera tri-pod, so theyre fantastic for stargazing, or any observation type setup. You can even turn the reticle down, or off, if you want it out of the way.
Sometimes called the TVS5 or SU88, these are used, and gen 2, some are better than others. Minor blemishes, paint scratches, and sometimes some chickenwire effect should be expected. Best ones will ship first, so dont delay too long. These are used gen 2 devices, so don’t expect perfect gen 3 performance, but on a clear night, especially with a full moon, they perform very well, so get out there and stop the soviets from crossing the Rhine.
