Yes, these are old gen 2 goggles, and dont perform as well as the basement larpers want. But the new stuff will never be as cool as a set of PVS5's. These are the A model, the most commonly seen model of the era.
My old man friend tells me he is immensely jealous, since he only got one pair for his whole green beret squad in west germany.
Obviously, they have far more specks/blems and poorer performance than current stuff, Some scratches on the front lenses, and they kinda smell like sweaty leather, but you don't really care about that, youre looking to larp as a desert storm helicopter pilot, just like I've been doing in my basement for the last two evenings.
